Celebrity riders, sponsored by Absa, have successfully completed the 2011 Absa Cape Epic, which kicked off with a prologue in Tokai Forest last Sunday (27 March 2011) and concluded with stage seven today (3 April 2011) at its traditional Lourensford Wine Estate finish.

The ASG Junior Team went to the Trac Junior Tour this weekend and Dominated winning ALL jerseys, Green Polka Dot and Yellow as well as winning the team Prize.

 

Blind cyclist and motivational speaker, Hein Wagner, and partner Gerrie Olivier, of team Pragma Beyond Vision were welcomed by an overjoyed and emotional crowd at the finish line of stage seven of the 2011 Absa Cape Epic (Sunday 3 April 2011) at the Lourensford Wine Estate.

Switzerland’s Christoph Sauser and his South African team mate Burry Stander (36ONE Songo Specialized) are on a winning streak by again finishing first in the trial ride (Stage 4) of this year’s Absa Cape Epic.
