The Transbaviaans: titled the "longest single stage team MTB Race".  Having won the event in 2010, team bizhub returned to the epic one day marathon with Ischen Stopforth pairing up with guest rider Hanlie Booyens.  Both riders have the enviable reputation of being two of the toughest and strongest endurance marathon riders in South Africa.

Celebrity riders, sponsored by Absa, have successfully completed stage six of the 2011 Absa Cape Epic, which took place on Saturday 2 April 2011 in Oak Valley, Grabouw.

Competition promises to be tough in the women’s team category of the 2010 Contego Wines2Whales MTB Race.  Starting at Lourensford Wine Estate (Somerset West) on Friday, 12 November 2010 top riders toeing the line will include Cherise Taylor riding with Karien van Jaarsveld, Yolandi du Toit riding with Catherine Williamson, Michelle Lombardi riding with Hanlie Booyens and Erica Green riding with Phelia Burger.

SA mountain biking stars, Michelle Lombardi and Hanlie Booyens will join forces in November to test their skills at the highly anticipated Contego Wines2Whales MTB Race starting at Lourensford Wine Estate (Somerset West) on Friday, 12 November 2010 and ending at Onrus Caravan Park, Hermanus on Sunday, 14 November 2010.
