Anriette Schoeman joins Mecer NMMU

Anriette Schoeman is back with NMMU (Nelson Mandela University) and Team Mecer after resigning from Team bizhub FCF earlier this month. Schoeman thanked bizhub and FCF for their support the past few months.

Schoeman wins Daily Dispatch Felt Cycle Tour

Anriette Schoeman (bizhub FCF) showed true form when she took full honors in the Daily Dispatch Felt Cycle Tour in East London. This follows her win last weekend in the Optimum Berge en Dale Classic in JHB.

The women started the 104km race with the men in the Open Licensed Group. The pace was high from the start and the bunch was broken into smaller groups within the first 2 kilometers of the race on the Cango Caves road as a group of 4 riders got away.

Schoeman wins Kumba Iron Ore Classic

Anriette Schoeman (Nashua Toyota) showed great form this weekend when she won the 105km ladies Kumba Iron Ore Classic in Upington.The Elite Women started the race with the Pro Elite Men's Teams.

The ladies started the 90km race with the open licensed category. With 70km to go Rodger Pheiffer (Wayne Pheiffer Cycles) and 7 men got away at St Albans. The top ladies managed to stay with the main bunch till the climb at the Fairview Road turnoff. An attack by Mario Nel and Weslee Todkill left some riders behind including Lilandi Swanepoel from Bizhub.

The women started Stage 3 of the Clover Tour with 4 laps of God's Window on the menu for the day. The main role players in the tour stayed together over the 1st lap and on the 2nd lap three vets caught the bunch off guard and broke away 39km into the race.

The women started the misty and wet 103km 2nd stage of the Clover Tour with the vets 40plus. The stage took them over the notorious God's Window climb and down Kowyn’s Pass to Bushbuckridge and back up Kowyn’s.

Anriette Schoeman (Nashua Toyota) took the Powerade Mountain to Mountain Challenge over 106km in Tzaneen this weekend. The ladies started with the vets 50 plus. Team Nashua Toyota dominated the podium with Lynette Burger taking the 2nd place and Leandri du Toit taking 3rd.

Anriette Schoeman (Nashua Toyota) took the first MTN Tour de Plet this weekend when she and Chris Rossouw managed to break away from the bunch up the notorious Groot Rivier Pass in Natures Valley. Petrus Loto (MTN Qhubeka) took the men’s race.
