The 24th Ride for Sight took place on Sunday, 12th February 2012. Almost 5700 cyclists took to the roads of Boksburg to raise money in the fight against retinal blindness. The Elite and Under 23, 116km main event was won by Arran Brown of MTN Qhubeka in a scintillating time of 02:30.

If yesterday was revelation, today was confirmation. After pulling off a very rare coup in winning his first professional race ever, Italian rider Andrea Guardini showed that victory was well deserved when he took another impressive sprint victory in Le Tour de Langkawi.

Starting his pro career in the best way possible, 21 year old Andrea Guardini thundered to a superb sprint victory on the opening stage of the Tour de Langkawi today. The Italian beat Park Sungbaek (Korea National Team) and Mohd Harrif Salleh (Terengganu ProAsia Cycling) to the line at Kuah on Langkawi island, thus winning his first-ever professional race.
