Bernardo Riccio from the Italian d'Angelo & Antenucci - Nippo team won the final stage of the Cell C tour of South Africa which took place in the streets of Paarl over a 10 km circuit raced 10 times and in doing was the only rider to win two stages of the tour!

Riders from the Toyota Supercycling Academy showed that appropriate, well-managed support for young talent is paying dividends when they claimed four of the six medals on offer in the Under-23 men’s category at the 2011 South African Road Cycling Championships in Port Elizabeth this week.

The Pick 'n Pay Fast One was characterized by good weather and fast flat racing! Hanco Kachelhoffer (Bonitas) won the event from a small break away group of three riders including Johann Van Zyl (Toyota SuperCycling) and Jacques Janse van Rensburg (Burgos).

A race in Bloemfontein, the MTN OFM Classic

The MTN OFM Classic in Bloemfontein, as one of the bigger events in the country showcased a fast and furious race over the weekend. Arran Brown of Team Medscheme once again showed his finishing prowess to win the event.

It is time to refresh our commitment to our responsibility on the road. As cyclists we want to set an example of how we should conduct ourselves.
Let us ride together around the Cradle in remembrance of those we have lost. As well as remind ourselves of the joy we have on the bike and that we should share it.
