On Sunday at the Amashova Cycle Classic only 400 meters separated Christiaan Kriek (CSA Toyota) from the biggest victory of his short career as a professional cyclist. Nolan Hoffman (Tasol GT) won the Amashova (106km), but it was the break started by Kriek after less than 10km and only caught at 400m to the finish line that had the fingers talking on the social networks.

The Nashua Toyota women’s professional cycling team confirmed the benefits of their European racing programme when their riders dominated the Amashova Durban Classic road cycling race in South Africa on Sunday.

With Durban caught in a deluge the Saturday before race day many riders thought they had rocked up for the Duzi in October!
