Former national U/23 champion Clinton Barrow marked his return to big time racing with a comfortable victory in the Mecer-NMMU Cycle Race that took place over 100km in a blustery Port Elizabeth on Sunday.

Former South African U/23 road champion Clinton Barrow could be the rider to watch in Sunday’s Mecer-NMMU Cycle Race that takes place on a testing 100km course in and around Port Elizabeth.

The second day of the Wayne Pheiffer Cycles Walmer Cycling Club Criterium started in gale force conditions. The 2nd days racing was over 80min plus 2 laps.

The Nashua Toyota ladies team dominated the ladies section of the annual Walmer Cycling Club criterium in Port Elizabeth by taking the first three podium spots. The ladies started the 90 min crit plus two laps with the elite men and vets 30 plus.
