Team bizhub's Lindi Dorfling won her first national road championship title on Sunday at the much hyped Msunduzi Road Challenge.

Andrew McLean signalled his return to top form after a two-month injury lay-off with a stunning overall victory in the 27km Time Trial at the Msunduzi Road Challenge, Africa's only leg of the new UCI World Cycling Tour on Saturday.

The Msunduzi Road Challenge gets under way with a time trial tomorrow (29 October) and a big field assembled for the road race on Sunday (30 October), with top local riders eyeing the chance to secure qualification for next year's UCI World Cycling Tour final over the same course by finishing in the top 25% of their class.
