Die Burger MTB Challenge will take place for the seventh year in 2012 in Stellenbosch on Saturday28 July. The event, which is renowned for its challenging and picturesque routes, will be held in association with the Simonsberg Conservancy and will boast five scenic routes to cater for all levels of riding.

Reinardt Janse van Rensburg’ s consistency secured him the overall victory in the Points Classification after his incredible sprint finish to 2nd place in today’s 182km final stage of the Fleche du Sud in Luxembourg. Trailing him in the fight for the points jersey were Julien Kern 4 points adrift and Bob Jungels 5 points adrift (both Team Leopard-Trek).

George, Evans call the shots at sani2c

David George and Kevin Evans came out all guns blazing on the opening stage of the three-day sani2c, presented by BoE Private Clients, in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday.

The second annual Cycling South Africa Youth Festival will take place in Oudsthoorn from 25th to 28th June. The format and regulations for the 2012 event will be similar to that of the 2011 Oudtshoorn Youth Festival except the disciplines catered for will be Road cycling, Mountain Biking, and Para-cycling.
Cycling South Africa’s Para-cycling Commission is proud to announce that the following riders have been selected to represent South Africa in two major UCI Para-cycling road events in Europe.
Team MTN-Qhubeka is continuing where it left off in Belgium, Holland and France just a week ago by once again finishing on the podium. This time the team is in Luxembourg for the 63rd running of the 5 day Fleche du Sud Stage race.
