Anriette Schoeman (bizhub FCF) successfully defended her title when she won the Optimum Berge and Dale Classic this weekend.

Saturday saw the annaul Optimum Berge en Dale Classic presented by ASG. The elite men's race was won by Reinardt Janse van Rensburg of Team MTN-Qhubeka while Anriette Schoeman of Bizhub FCF won the elite women's race.

Schoeman takes Ecclesiate/Optimum Berge en Dale Classic 2011
The ladies started the 103 km race with the vets 40 plus. The race started with a phenomenal pace as Bruce Diesel and Stefano Madies broke away within the 1st km on the 2km climb.
