The 113th running of the annual Paarl Boxing Day Track meet took place at the Fraure Street Stadium in Paarl in front of a capacity crowd. The 25 Mile race is the oldest of it's kind in the country and lists among it's ardent fans none other than Springbok coach Peter De Villiers who has been coming to the event for the past 15 years.

One of the few remaining institutions in South African Track Cycling is moving to the day after Boxing Day for 2010 for an extraveganza of Track Cycling action with a prize purse in excess of R15000.00.
